I worked with Kat to plan my 11 year old daughter's birthday party. I had concerns that this activity may be too complicated for this age group. Kat was very helpful and accommodated the content in order to make it age appropriate. The children had a wonderful time and used their party room to eat dinner and cake. Kat decorated the room and provided all of the utensils and some decorations as well. I was relieved to see birthday candles there since I didn't bring any. Again, the children worked together and appreciated the clues and help that Kat's team provided. They had a great time!

Just want to thank Cat and Dan for providing our groups with amazing learning experiences! We have now made at least 4 visits to Epic Escape Rooms LI with our groups, and we will be going there again in the near future. Cat has been more than accommodating with our students. It is experiential learning at it's best. The students work together - learning how to be better listeners - explore ideas - use sequencing skills as clues are gathered - and so much more! We are grateful for all you have done, and continue to do for our students!

I made a bar mitzvah for my son at epic escape the room. Kat was a pleasure to work with and organized delicious kosher food for us! Her team had so much patience for our rowdy and large group of boys! I highly recommend them what a pleasure! Both kids and adults had a great time!

We escaped! We came here with a group of about 15 for a year-end team event and Cathy and the staff at Epic sure lived up to their name! The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible and we had a lot of fun. I will definitely be back on my own time with friends.

great, fun, collaborative experience well worth the time to escape. I forgot the name of the person who was very hospitable and explained all of the rules and parts of the room, but he made the experience so worth it and enjoyable. Definitely looking forward to escaping from the other rooms they have available here, as well as the rooms they have at their Brooklyn branch!

Absolutely amazing! This was my first time doing an escape room and it was hilarious and fun. The staff was really nice too and explained everything thoroughly. You get 5 hints for a game, so use them wisely. Was able to finish with one other friend to our surprise, as neither of us had ever done rooms. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back again!

Wow! This place is incredible. Several rooms to choose from. The room I completed was challenging but very fun. There were several things for us to figure out. This was an amazing experience. Cat was such a pleasure to work with. My brother was proposing after our groups escaped both rooms and Cat helped us make everything look amazing and go off without glitch. Thank you guys so much for everything you did with the escape rooms and with the dinner party afterwards. I would recommend this place to all!

I was looking for a memorable place to propose to my boyfriend of 10 years. It needed to be on Valentine's Day. And of course, I wanted to be excited rather than stressed about it. In the New York area, that's a tall order. I had planned on hunting for different venues, and EPIC ESCAPES was the first one on my list to check out because of the positive reviews I found online. The minute I walked into EPIC, Cat Dunn (owner) welcomed me warmly and instantly made me feel like she was a close friend who was excited about planning the whole event with me. After 30 minutes of speaking with her (really only after 5 of those 30 minutes) I was sold. I knew she was the person I wanted to trust with my big day. She took it on like it was HER big day, and she wanted everything to go right. Our family and friends flew in from around the country, she instantly handled ALL personality types with Grace and fun, even the difficult members of our group, and kept the vibe light and stress-free. They all participated in the escape room while I hid in the party room that she has available for groups. Everyone had a BLAST in the escape room, and came out to me with my bouquet, ready to drop on one knee for my boyfriend when he walked out. (He said yes, btw) The rest of the evening Cat continued to serve us and make sure everyone had an amazing time. So grateful. She helped make the evening perfect!I cannot recommend this business highly enough. If you are looking for fun and security knowing you are in good hands (tough to find in the New York area) then please consider EPIC ESCAPES and make sure to ask for Cat. You will be SO glad you did.

We had a great time. We did the "Vanished" room and beat it with only a few minutes to spare. This was our first escape room and it was the perfect amount of challenging. Some of the parts were hard but they give you 5 clues so that made it doable. I had so much fun; I can't wait to do another one!

The staff was fantastic and so easy to work with as I planned my event. My students had a great time. One of them had done several Escape Room experiences previously and said that this was the best one yet! The puzzles were hard enough to be challenging, but we made it out with a few minutes to spare. I will definitely be back!!

This Place has to the most fun and challenging rooms. The management and owner are so nice and friendly and accommodating. They keep things new and fresh. You want a night of family fun or a an amazing birthday party for your kids then come here. We have done parties and just fun nights with family and friends!! We will keep coming back over and over.

Did this as a team building exercise for work and it was great. Was the first time for all of use and we got beat pretty bad. I would say it is challenging for even experienced folks. Worth the trip!

Went to Epic Escape Rooms as part of my wife’s birthday weekend celebration and we had a great time. The staff was friendly and funny, and playing “Vanished” was a lot of fun. I look forward to trying their other rooms and definitely recommend Epic Escape Rooms LI.

My coworkers and I went as a group of ten to celebrate a birthday! Cat was so nice and informative and ( generous with the clues) we truly worked together and gave it our best and happy to report that we won! We chose the serial killer room and it was just as described - scary, thought provoking and fun! It was a great experience and we would definitely do it again!

THIS WAS THE BEST ESCAPE ROOM MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. Brooke was fantastic. She was polite, funny and gave us helpful clues. The light fixture we needed was broken and she generously gave us an additional 2 minutes. Best experience ever. Will definitely recommend. It is great for a small party to a larger one. Make sure you ask for Brooke if she is there! Thank you for making our time enjoyable and unforgettable!

I had such an amazing time. We went for a girls night out celebrating two birthdays and it was awesome! It was challenging but so fun and the clues were in our face the whole time! I’m making two more reservations for my brothers birthday and for a family day! It’s family appropriate and the staff were so friendly! The staff treats you as though your friends. My group and I wanted to do something last minute on a Friday night and we were able to get a time slot for the room we wanted. Our room director was awesome and made the experience a lot more intense and interactive. We did Killer Feature and it was really fun especially in the beginning when they chain you up! Amazing experience overall!

The wife and I had an absolute blast doing the Balthazar room, it was our first experience with an Escape Room and couldn't have asked for a better one. The staff were all super helpful and personable, we escaped with less than half a second on the clock which made it that much more intense! Looking forward to trying one of the other rooms in the near future.

I had a really good time with my friends as they were really flexible with us. We did the Killer Feature and had the fright of our lives. The hints were helpful, but unfortunately we didn't make it out in time. I will definitely come back again with my friends to someday do the new room.

Our family enjoyed the Forbidden Forest escape room! We found the puzzles challenging and engaging— and the allotted clues were very helpful! The staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly! we escaped with under 2 minutes left! Would love to see what they could do with some 2-room set ups because the 1 room themes and decor are great! Overall, great experience and we will be back!!

We had an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC time this weekend at Epic Escape Rooms. We had a large party of 12 and did The Pazzioli's room. It was SO MUCH FUN!! I've gone to 3 other Escape Rooms over the years, and Epic was by far the best experience! And I must not forget Harry at Epic, who was so helpful and wonderful in guiding us, ensuring everyone had an enjoyable experience.

Really fun experience to do with a group. Everything was explained very well and the riddles was pretty hard, good thing we get clues haha. Only thing is that you don’t really get to pick a room, I’m not even sure if there are different rooms because that was never an option when booking. And also just be aware because when you just go off of the Apple Maps directions it may take you to their closed off location, make sure you use the email directions.

I took my 12 year daughter with 4 of her friends and did the “Disorderly Conduct” room.This was a medium level escape room and the girls had so much fun!Our host and guide, Harry was one of the most pleasant people I’ve met and he was definitely very thorough, explanatory and helpful making this a wonderful experience for the girls! The place was very clean and the staff is very pleasant and friendly! I would definitely recommend this!

Oh my god what a fun escape room this is my second time coming here and let me just tell you my experience is amazing . The first time I came here I took my sister and her boyfriend and my girlfriend we did killer feature and finish the room with 16 mins left . Then I came here tonight because they recommend their hardest room taken 2 and I did that again with my sister and her boyfriend and my two friends minus one of my friends not in the picture 😂 wouldn’t believe it. But we finish the room with 2 secs left on the clock I was shocked. I was able to finish this room, considering this is the hardest room they have. Let me just tell you the room their are not easy and they’re not designed to be escaped unless you really put time and effort to get out of them and the staff even told us time and team work will let you free . Definitely recommend doing one of their easier rooms before you try one of these harder rooms . Besides that I love the staff, they’re very kind very helpful and very funny. I even enjoyed talking to the owner on the phone. I believe her name is Kat first time. When I made my reservation she took care of everything and told me I should do killer feature before I did Taken 2 that was honestly the best choice possible . So yeah I really appreciate her help and I can’t wait to come back to do more escape rooms in the futureThank you again Epic escape room li

Fantastic experience! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating, especially because we had to start 15 minutes late. The room was a perfect balance between difficult and fun. I highly recommend this place!

What is an Escape Room?
An escape room is a fun, immersive real life themed based adventure game where players, along with their team members, are locked in a room and they have 60 minutes to try and escape the room. All players must work together to find hidden clues and solve puzzles in order to escape the room in the allotted time. Difficult? Sure. Impossible? No.
How much does admission cost?
Pricing is $35 -$50 per player. Admission cost varies based on your escape room selection and the number of players in your group. Please check the book now section for more detailed pricing per room. Currently, we are doing private games only for your group. If your group consists of 2 players you can still enjoy our games.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive later than your scheduled game time we will give you a 10 minute grace period, no longer. No exceptions.
Are the rooms scary?
Our rooms are not really scary. However, some rooms have scary elements in them. Please read the description of our rooms for more information.
What if our team is stuck on a task?
You can ask your game master for three clues to assist you in escaping the room. Choose them wisely!

Are you really locked in the room?
For safety reasons you are not actually locked in the rooms, but you will be so immersed in your mission/game that you will not even notice. In addition, your game master will be watching via video to ensure your safety.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
There are no refunds once tickets are purchased since we are saving your place in our game rooms. However, should an emergency arise no later than 72 hours prior to your game time, please call us and we will gladly assist you in booking another time slot based on our availability.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No one under the age of 5 is permitted to attend.
What forms of payments do you accept?
The forms of payments we accept are MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, debit card, Cash and PayPal.
Are the rooms private to my booking?
Yes. In the efforts of stopping the spreads of Covid Now all Games are private to your group.
Can I book your escape rooms for a party or company team building event?
Yes! We can accommodate parties, special event or company team building events. We now have Party Packages & A Private Party Room. Please call us at 516-427-5977 for more information.
